Qualifications: Ph.D. preferred (in any discipline), but exceptional Master's degree candidates will be considered; must feel personally driven by the notion of social change of some kind (even if not focused on violence prevention); a dynamic and charismatic speaker and trainer; demonstrated leadership skills; excellent communicator; self-directed; sunny disposition and visible passion for this kind of work. NOTE: Experience in the field of social change is important; but it is not required that the applicant have previous experience in violence prevention work.
Responsibilities: Helping our organization leave the world safer than we found it; public speaking; training; consultation; technical support for others doing prevention work; content development.
Requirement: MUST BE LOCATED OR WILLING TO RELOCATE TO THE DC/NORTHERN VA/MD AREA.
Compensation: $50,000-$80,000 depending on experience. Good benefits including retirement, healthcare, and generous leave time.
